Our slogan is "Tourist facility which is friendly to the environment and people". We have been trying to achieve efficient use of the nature and environment of Owakudani. We have been reducing our shopping bag use and number of broken eggs made in Kuro-tamago making process.
We aim at obtaining [ISO 14001], International Standard for environment management system provided by International Standardization Organization (ISO), to enhance our efforts in environmentally-friendly activities.
After 4 months of our practice to achieve [ISO 14001] approval, we obtained it on June 1st 2007.
